Hello
I am having some issues with installing windows 10 (pro) version 20H2 on a NUC9i9QNX in a raid 0 configuration using two NVMe Samsung evo 970.
I followed every step.
Both drives are remapped to RST and the raid gets created using RST All looks good in the bios before I start the Windows setup from a fresh USB stick installer (using the MS Windows 10 Media Creation Tool).
Windows setup boots from USB stick.
When the windows setup gets to the step where it tries to enumerate the drives, the dialog box does not show any drives available. I click on load driver, navigate to the location of the driver for from RST-F6flpy-WIN10-64-17.5.1.1021.zip and I load it.
Upon loading of the driver, the setup appears to laod the driver but the setup hangs with a driver load progress bar that repeats and never enumerates the raid disk.
Any advice on how to get the raid drive recognized in windows setup?
The drives individually work fine in AHCI mode and I can install windows 10 just fine in ahci mode (without a driver).
Info:
I tried several RST flpy drivers, all of them produce the same result.
Bios is at the last version (i updated it) QXCFL579.0054.2020.0810.2239
INTEL RST DRIVER ON BOARD : RST.17.5.0.4055
A similar issue on a different NUC was also posted here, without a solution i'm afraid:
Thanks.

Hello Josm
Thank you for your patience in this matter.
We tested this in our lab following the instructions in this link RAID Setup Procedure for Intel® NUC Kits (which also confirms NVMe drives are supported on this Intel® NUC). Basically, we follow these steps:
- Setting up RAID mode in BIOS.
- Creating RAID volume RAID 0 using Adding Config option
- Installing operating system (OS).
Please kindly refer to the previous link RAID Setup Procedure for Intel® NUC Kits and the pictures attached. Please let us know if after following these steps the issue persists.
Best regards,
