NUC9VXQNX starting in manufacturing mode at first boot and after 100 starts. BIOS update installed using three posted files on intel site. Executed steps of Intel article 33291. still no resolve.
Called Intel, reached 1st level support who stated nothing else to do and closed case. Intel has no devices to warranty
NUC is beginning to fault with administrator login. Is NUC9VXQNX now a toaster ?

Good morning Mr. Peterson,
Just short of wiping the solid-state drives, all updates installed, including those that would like new firmware. The actual time consistently faults backwards by one to two hours after consistently changing to the correct time every other day, which has been interfering with production software. Reviewed many Intel and Microsoft documents and implementing those procedures as the written, still not correcting issue at hand.
The SSU utility has been executed providing several issues. Intel has contacted indicating receiving new stock and has written to cross ship for defective unit.
Sorry to say but I'm not sure whether to indicate your feedback as a solution. Intel has though finally offered a solution. It seems that possibly this item is very popular....
Enjoy your day.....

First of all, you say that you are seeing the message about Manufacturing Mode appearing on the BIOS POST Splash Screen. You've updated the BIOS but this message hasn't disappeared. This is your Issue1. Next, you are also saying that you are seeing faults at login. This is your Issue2.
I am going to need a lot more information to diagnose what is going on here. Regardless, I can tell you this: these two issues have absolutely NOTHING to do with each other. Issue1 is not in any way, shape or form responsible for Issue2. Issue1 is an inconvenience but nothing more (this is probably what the agent you talked to was saying).
So, back to Issue2. Please explain yourself better. What kind of fault is occurring when you login? If you can login, please download and run the Intel System Support Utility for Windows. Select all data categories and then have it generate a report. Next, have the tool Save the report to a text file (don't try to use the Submit capability; it doesn't work). Finally, using the Drag and drop here or browse files to attach dialog below the edit box for the body of your response post, upload and attach this file to the response post.
