New Intel NUC BOXNUC7CJYH2 with a fresh Installation of Win10Pro. It now happend already 3 times (so the statistic ist actually 3 out of 5) that i shut down Windows, and everything worked normally, system shutting down, but on/off Button still lighted up blue und the NUC didn't turn completely off. Also pressing the On/Off Button for 3 to 15 seconds didn't turn it off. Only disconnecting electricity helps.
So i think i will send it back if there is no solution to this problem or can anyone help?

Hello @KLans
- See what happens if hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard and then click the “Shut down” option in the Start Menu?
- Leave your NUC overnight with power cable disconnected.

1. Made a correct shutdown. But it is hard to say, if Shift made a difference, since the poblem didn't happen every time! Also a normal shutdown, without shift-key, was ok now. I will have to observe it!
2. Will try this. Thanks.

Mine has shutdown properly every time.
Good input from Leon on some things you could try.
Holding down the power button for a full 4 seconds results in an immediate power down. This is a non-maskable hardware feature; you cannot stop it from occurring. Seeing as it is not occurring for you (though you should test again), this tells me that there might be something physically wrong in your power button operation. You may want to consider contacting Intel Customer Support directly (not here; via phone, chat, forms services) to discuss getting your base unit replaced.
Hope this helps,
...S

Yes, that is what i tthought too. Holding down Power Button (even more than 10 sec.) did definitly not turn the NUC off. I will observe the problem!
