New graphics driver constantly crashing when alt tabbing out of a game

The latest Intel Radeon driver for the nuc8i7hvk. 18.12.x

Play apex legends on lowest settings fullscreen 1080p, play 1 or 2 games. Alt tab, guaranteed system lockup. forced reset.

 

Tried the amd vega 56 latest driver, all was fine until after 2 days the driver itself decided to stop working.

 

Currently am on 18.9.1 roll back until this issue is fixed.

Did you make any recent hardware/software changes? Was it working fine before? When did the issue start? What is the complete Windows* version that you are using? What is the model of the memory RAM? Please provide speed, voltage and quantity of sticks. This NUC was purchased new in November 2018.

No recent hardware/software changes(aside from games)

Yes during the 18.9.1 driver the pc was functioning fine

the issue started the moment i installed the new driver 18.12.x the driver that came on the 28th of February.

Windows 10 professional 64bit

F4-2400C16D-32GRS intel validated memory for this nuc.

 

Bios is already at 0053

I've done all of this properly before and in that order.

I found a web site and from the details showing there, ALT+Tab is not supported for Apex Legends: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/ALT-TAB-isn-t-supported/td-p/7422766 In the following you will find a possible solution for this issue: "When you maximize your game again, press alt + enter so you can change fullscreen mode to window. Hello Alberto, i reluctantly reinstalled the driver. No other games infact are having this problem. Just apex.

 

I Don't believe alt tabing isn't supported in apex as that is just a user attempting to help a bug he is having and it was solved by closing his discord. I thank you for the assistance, next time i play i will disable my discord as well and hope that fixes the problem.

Tried Apex tonight, both with discord running and without it running. Now it just hangs the system from the main menu if you alt tab.

Based on the fact that the issue happens only with the game Apex, it indicates that the problem could be related to Operating System configuration or the game settings.
