Hello, I have put together a NUC8i5BEK with Win 10 Pro but I cannot make the IR receiver work. Actually, it does not seem to show any sign of IR receiver HW. I have no unknown peripherals listed in the device manager and if I try to install the ITE IR consumer driver it return a 020B error, sign the driver does not find a compatible HW. Of course tried to reboot, reset devices etc, but nothing seems to show the IR receiver. Is it defected or is there a chance I can debug this further to verify something else is going on? Thank you. Matteo
Is support for CIR enabled in the BIOS? In Visual BIOS, click on Advanced, then Devices and then on the Onboard Devices tab. In the Legacy Device Configuration window on the right, check Enhanced Consumer IR to enable CIR support.
Within Windows 10, because CIR is a Legacy (non-PNP) device, no unresolved entries will appear for it in Device Manager. You must manually install the ITE CIR driver package in order to use CIR within Windows.
Hope this helps,
