Hi,
We have purchased the first of many 11th Gen Intel NUC boards (NUC11TNBi7). We are customising the boot logo to brand/customise the board for use with our end consumers. The board will be used as an embedded board as part of a branded product/system.
When the NUC boots, it displays "For support visit Intel" with a QR code in the bottom corner.
This message is misleading and unprofessional for our end consumers as it directs them away from our own support which is what they would require 99% of the time. We have not found any way to remove this message. Using BIOS version 0062.
Thanks
Russell

Hello Russell,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I understand you are having issues with your Intel® NUC 11 Pro Board NUC11TNBi7.
In order to better assist you, please provide the following:
1. Do you work for a company? If so, what is the name of the company/business?
2. Do you have an IPS account with Intel?
3. Do you want to just remove the "For support visit Intel"? Or, do you also want to replace it with something else?
Regards,
Deivid A.

HI Deivid,
Thanks for getting back to me. I am working for a company based in the UK - 'Peartree Studios Ltd'. We don't have an IPS account with Intel. Regarding removal or replacement, removal would be fine, but if there is a straightforward way to customise the message we might be interested in that, however, the amount of time it is displayed is sometimes very short depending on the boot configuration so it might be misleading to show any information there.
Thanks
Russell

Have seen the same message (with a QR code next to it), also wondered the same thing, although i am not fully against the message, we use an OEM logo on the main page, so really we would not want this message on the screen either..
FYI - Uploading an OEM logo does not remove the message.

Hello Russell,
Thanks for your patience. Based on the research performed, I recommend you to try the following:
- You can hide the Support information (QR code and support URL) using the BIOS:
- During your NUC's startup press F2 to enter BIOS
- Go to the Advanced tab
- Uncheck BIOS Self-Help
please let me know if this helped.
Regards,
Deivid A.

I am glad to know that the steps helped you. Please let me know if the request was completely addressed and if you would like to close this thread.
@GRIFFCOMM , unfortunately, I do not have any confirmation if these steps also work with a NUC11 Extreme, however, feel free to try them on a NUC11 Extreme if are able to and share the outcome.
