bios это , а вот жадности можно только позавидовать, даже обновить пустой нук нельзя, нет места, зато бестолковых игр напихали. обновление уже 5 часов ставит, всего 19%, жесть полная. и результат после 6 часов failed. желаю вам того же))

It's not a BIOS issue, so don't blame the BIOS. That's a complete cop-out on your part.
I have and do regularly update the Windows O/S on almost every NUC and Compute Stick model that exists -- and this includes *all* of the models that are limited to only 32GB of storage. Yes, you sometimes have to provide temporary storage to assist the update process and yes, it sometimes take a while to complete. No, it doesn't fail (well, not if you do it right). The proper way to handle the update process on PCs with limited resources is documented in all sorts of places on the internet so I am not going to repeat anything here. I suggest you do some investigation and learn the processes necessary.
Here's a common-sense hint: You will always have problems if you install games onto the system drive. Simply put, never do that. Always install your games to secondary storage.

Issue description in English: can't update the NUC "out of the box" - not enough space for the OS update, concerns about a lot of useless games pre-installed, so the update take ~5 hours and it's 19% done so far - not acceptable. After 6 hours of updating the following error message is displayed - update failed.
Hi NucGluk,
Please fix issue description above if not correct and let me tell you that I agree with Scott in his previous post but if you still need further assistance please provide me with the NUC model.
Regards,
Ronny G

если заменить м2 на быстрый и достаточный объем от 240, заменить память на 8 гиг, заменить 10 ось на линукс или вин 8 то нормально будет, а так цена не больше 100 долларов. за 200 долларов должно быть нормальное железо

Hello NucGluk,
Thank you for your feedback.
If you are still having issues with your Intel® NUC, please provide the following information:
Run the Intel® System Support Utility and attach the report to this thread.
1.Download the Intel® System Support Utility and save the application to your system.
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows-?product=91...
2.Open the application and click Scan to see system and device information. The Intel® System Support Utility defaults to the Summary View on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says summary to change to Detailed View.
3.To save your scan, click Next and click Save. You can save the file to any accessible location on your computer.
To attach a file, you must click "Use Advanced Editor" on the upper right hand corner of the response box, then the "attach" option will appear on the bottom right hand corner of the response box.

Hello NucGluk,
As stated above, this is not a BIOS issue. You have to follow a few steps in order to make sure that the update is successful.
You can try a few options including:
Option 1: free up space on your device by deleting nonessential files.
Option 2: use other external devices such as a USB key, SD card, or external hard drive.
Option 3: Perform a system restore and try the update again.
Option 4: Perform a clean install of the operating system.
At this point, we recommend following Microsoft's recommended procedures to resolve this issue.
