Hi,

I’m using this motherboard for a project and would like to power it from a standard 24 pin ATX psu. Please advise.

Regards.

The NUC requires 19v DC.   The ATX power supply does not provide that, unless you start messing with converters and such.

Why would want to attempt this?

Aware of the 19v requirement hence verifying if dc/dc converter is the only way.
Well I don’t want dual power supplies as I already have an ATX PSU to power up other peripherals.

You'll have to add a DC-DC buck converter. Here is one possibility that I know of: Mini-Box.com: DCDC-NUC, 6-48V automotive power supply for NUC, 12V or 19V output.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for your response. Had Googled that earlier but shipping to the EU seems to be a pain. Keen to know your thoughts about stuff like this: 152W DC 12V to DC 19V 8A Voltage Converter Step Up Converter Boost Power Module https://www.amazon.nl/dp/B07WP3DNG9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_2X3VD1F3PDZ2ZMDZPDHW?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

That certainly looks like it should work.
