Hi,

I have purchased NUC10i7FNH three weeks ago.

I have noticed this black screen coming every time when NUC resume from sleep. I have attached the snapshots.

As vendor suggested i tried changing the Hard disk and RAM also it did not help.

I am still facing this issue and loosing my work when ever NUC goes to sleep mode. I have noticed the blue screen also occasionally.

Can you please suggest how to Solve this issue? I tried the troubleshoot provided but it did not help.

Components in NUC:

Crucial P5 500GB 3D NAND NVMe Internal SSD, up to 3400MB/s - CT500P5SSD8

Crucial RAM 16GB DDR4 2666 MHz CL19 Laptop Memory CT16G4SFRA266

Thanks,

Mahesh

By any chance did you install Windows 10 with the BIOS configured to support Modern Standby but you subsequently changed the BIOS configuration to support S3 (or vice versa)?
To provide us with more information, please download and run the Intel System Support Utility for Windows and have it save the report to a file. Then, using the Drag and drop here or browse files to attach dialog below the edit box for the body of your response post, upload and attach this file to the response post.

Hello @MAHESHV

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

We found that you have an internal open case describing the same issue and the same hardware/software environment as the one in this thread. Since Intel® Customer Support is already assisting you through the internal case, to avoid duplication of effort we will close this thread now from our side and the support will continue through the internal case.

If you need any additional information, please submit a new question as this thread will no longer being monitored. Thank you for your understanding.

Thanks @AndrewG_Intel  for prompt reply on this case.

Suggestion from support center is to return the NUC for service which can take up to 12 days for the resolution. I have to send it through courier since service center is not near to my place.

I am concerned since it is brand new which is 2-3 weeks and hitting into issues. Also service center is not promising for the replacement.

Thought it will be great if i get troubleshoot here if it is not really hardware issue for which i have to return NUC to service center.

Thanks,

Mahesh
