Yesterday after shutdown my nuc stopt working.
I removed all components and booted. THE blue powerled is blinking 3 times indicating there is no memory. After inserting memory the nuc starts, the fans blow. Then after a few seconds the nuc shuts down and the process starts again and again.
Is the memory the problem of is something else wrong?
After power ON, press repeatably F2 button in order to enter bios. If the NUC enters bios and is not rebooting, it is good chance that the problem is not cased by SODIMM memory. If you can't enter bios or you have entered bios but NUC rebooted, probably it is memory failure. In this case remove one of the SODIMs and try to use only one at time to isolate the failed module. If you have only one memory module, you need test your NUC with some borrowed one.
- Can you use only one memory module at time?
- Can you use other memory?
- You may try to recover your bios with Security Jumper removed: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005532/mini-pcs.html . However I think that you should check the RAM first.
