Hi,
I got the problem when playing 1080 movie with PowerDVD installed in Nuc8i7BEH, the subtitle was disappear in full screen mode, it only appear again when I move the mouse cursor into the frame. I found out that when I manual set the resolution on Intel Graphic control panel to 1080, the subtitle is ok again.
When I set the Iris Intel Graphic and Win 10 display resolution to 3840 x 2160, the subtitle is disappeared again in full screen.
My TV and receiver is 4k, when playing 4k the subtitle is normal.
I tried to reinstall the PowerDVD software and even the win10 several time already. But the problem was still remain.
Do you guys got any idea to solve it ?
Thanks

Hello TTruo10
Thank you for posting in the Intel Community.
Have you tried using the Intel® NUC directly connected to the TV?
Please attach the Intel® System Support Utility for Windows* to the thread.

Hi Leonardo C.
I did as your advice, connect Intel Nuc directly to the TV, it works, the subtitle is normal.
All the cable is HDMI 2.0, I set the signal on Yamaha receiver is passthrough.
Can I pass the Atmos and DTS audio signal to receiver by the thunderbolt port?
Thanks

Has an almost similar problem with NUC and a AV Receiver. The problem disapear when I connect the NUC directly to the TV. But as u said, it cant pass surround to the AVR. So, if no solution, im faccing to return the NUC too.
PS: Also, like u, test with other PC and work fine. Poblem is just with NUC.

My patience is over, so I already let the NUC gone. I bought a new PC with VGA and a AMD CPU, it's running well without any problem with a reasonable price in comparation with NUC.

I already returned it. Bought a MSI Cube. Plug & Play experience. Is awensome how can an external company can do better job than intel with an intel processor.

This is automatic replied from Intel:
"Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting Intel Customer Support. Your support request was related to a product for which Intel has ended support, or you were re-directed to your place of purchase. Although our ability to provide support was limited, please take a few minutes to provide feedback so we can continue to improve your service experience. "
They can sell unlimited, but for supporting is limited!
