Ordering a replacement fan for NUC6i7KYB

This morning my Skull Canyon NUC fan became very noisy, as if the bearings are failing. I found this Intel support article that says I can order a replacement by opening a support case (my warranty expired in July):

However all my attempts to log in to the support web site fail: I have a valid username/password, but it always redirects me to a general support page rather than letting me access the actual page for opening a support case.

I click here: https://supporttickets.intel.com/ but I'm always redirected to here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support.html

Can someone explain how to open a support case?

Some of the Intel servers are having issues today. Try it again. If it fails, try it again tomorrow.

Thanks. I succeeded in opening a ticket a little later. I had created a new account with a different email address, thinking perhaps the first account had a problem. Probably that wasn't necessary -- the server just came online again.
