I have Windows 10 64 bit installed on my Intel Nuc NUC8i7HVK. All drivers were downloaded from this site https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/126143/Intel-NUC-Kit-NUC8i7HVK Downloads for Intel® NUC Kit NUC8i7HVK and installed. NUC is connected to Yamaha A3070 receiver and then to Sony TV Oled A1. Belkin Ultra High Speed 4K HDMI Cables used for both connections.
PowerDVD 18 can't play HDR videos, saying that my TV can't play HDR.
Please help me with this issue. Thanks.

Hello UyenTran,
Thank you for posting on the Intel ® communities.
I can see that you are having problems playing HDR movies or videos.
Regarding this, I would like to start by gathering some information. To better assist you with your request, I will need to check some information about your computer. Please follow these steps:
1. In the keyboard, press WinLogo key + R.
2. In the Run box please type dxdiag and hit Enter.
3. Click on Save All Information (save it in your desktop).
4. Attach the report to this thread.
Also, I would like you to try connecting the NUC directly to the TV and see if it is possible to play the videos in HDR, sometimes the problem can be caused by the AV receiver so I would like to test this. I would also like you to tell me, exactly how you can tell that the HDR is not being played. Are you getting an error message perhaps? If not, please let me know so we can have more information about this.
I would also like you to have a look at the following article regarding the HDR support:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000025998/graphics-drivers.html High Dynamic Range (HDR) Support
You can use this while connecting the unit directly to the TV to see if the HDR is available or not. It gives you steps to activate the Native HDR on Windows.
If applicable, please attach screenshots.
Regards,
David V

Hi,
Attached please find the report.
I did try connecting my NUC directly to the TV and it didn't work either.
I enabled SGX in Bios, and then tried to install https://nam03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https://communities.intel.com/external-link.jspa... Intel® Software Guard Extensions, but failed. It says
"Fatal installation blocking issues are detected.
AESM has already installed by INF on this platform. Install will cancel".

Hello UyenTran,
Thank you for your response.
After some investigation I found that you already have another thread open with the same issue and it is being addressed there. Please refer to the thread:
/thread/129009 https://communities.intel.com/thread/129009
Since the case is duplicated, I will proceed to close this request, however, the one with the link I had provided will continue with the support to address the problem you are experiencing.
