Protocol supported by NUC?

I have a NUC MODEL is NUC8i7HVB VERSION J68196-602.

I’m trying to connect a tablet that requires (their words) “USB-C port needs to support the USB 3.1 Gen1 DP1.2 protocol”

Is that the case with my NUC or is it a firmware or software element?

That's what's also referred to as DisplayPort Alt Mode - and yes, DisplayPort 1.2 is supported in the USB-C connectors. These USB-C connectors also support USB 3.1 Gen2 and Thunderbolt 3.

Here is a snippet from the HV Technical Product Specification:

That's what's also referred to as DisplayPort Alt Mode - and yes, DisplayPort 1.2 is supported in the USB-C connectors. These USB-C connectors also support USB 3.1 Gen2 and Thunderbolt 3.
