RAM Memory compatibility

I want to buy NUCC7JYB (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/126135/intel-nuc-kit-nuc7cjyh/specifications.ht...), the specs say that the Max Memory Size is of 8GB and that have 2 DIMMs, can I install an 8GB RAM module, or must be two modules of 4GB?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Hello @FabiánF

You can install one 8GB SODIMM, however your NUC will have better performance using two 4GB SO DIMM of the same P/N (kit of two 4GB SO DIMM is preferred). With two SODIMM NUC will work in double channel memory mode.

Please refer to list of Compatible Memory validated by Intel.  This list is limited to the modules tested by Intel (i.e. other modules may be compatible as well). Please read the requirement for System Memory on page 18 in the Technical Product Specification.
