I want to have something similar like the lights in the Hades Canyon skull, but in Skull Canyon. Also be able to modify the color of the "on/off" ring both in the on state and hibernation.
Is there any mod to achieve this result? Is it at least possible to use RGB lights connected in some way and control them from some app?

RArmu1, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.
According to our documents and the TPS (Technical Product Specification) of the Intel® NUC Kit NUC6i7KYK, there is not an option to customized the LED lights of the NUC as in the HADES CANYON:
https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/boardsandkits/NUC6i7KYK_TechProdSpec.pdf
There is an setting in the BIOS to customized the pattern of the LED light for S0 and S3 states under the "Power" tab, that will be the only option in there.
In reference to the question about the application, the only application to manage the LED lights of the NUC is the one designed for the HADES CANYON:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27641/NUCs-LED-Manager-for-Intel-NUC?product=126141
Just to let you know, there might be 3rd party web sites and applications that might allow you to customized or add LEDs of the Intel® Skull Canyon, but those alternatives are not validated by Intel and it will be under your own risk if by doing that the warranty will be avoid or the unit might get defective.
