Re: NUC Kit 5i5RYK -driver updates

I have almost the same problem with my NUC Kit NUC5i5RYK.

When I run https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/intel-driver-support-assistant.htm it shows there are 2 updates:

Although I ran the updates several times en rebooted , the new drivers will not install. I do not get any faults when the installers are running. Version 12.15.25.6 is never removed. I'm really stuck here.

Hello Ronnie98,

Thank you for bringing this matter to the Intel® NUC Community. I am sorry to hear you are having issues with these drivers.

What are the drivers versions installed in Device Manager?

/thread/119110 Ronnie98, thank you for that information.

I manually checked the driver version from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/83254/Intel-NUC-Kit-NUC5i5RYK Downloads for Intel® NUC Kit NUC5i5RYK, and you do have installed the latest versions for these components. I must be an conflict with the tool showing other versions.

Amy,

Thank you for your reply. I however do not get it.

My installed ethernet driver version is 12.15.25.6712

I do not see this version on the download page.

On the download page the latest driver is version 22.7.1

Sure /thread/119110 Ronnie98, and I can explain that. So, the 22.17 version you see is actually the package version, once you install the package it displays the version itself. I installed myself in one of our units and I see 12.15.25.6712 as the version installed.

Amy C.

OK, so my drivers are up to date. The Intel Driver Assistant is wrong however.

Tnx for investigating...

Hello,

Sorry to bump in, but I have the same issue on a NUC5PGYH, with wireless driver and Intel trusted execution engine driver. No matter now many time I re-installed, including removal and re-install, repair, update, all options, those two keep coming in as not updated. So you say it's ok and it is an Intel Driver Assistant issue?

Thanks.

Check for the latest updates for your Intel® NUC model in https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ Drivers & Software, the tool might show inconsistencies with some drivers.

If you need further assistance, please create a new thread.

Amy C.
