Record audio using line-in

Hi there!

What I am trying to do is to record the music coming from a Novation Circuit using Audacity installed on my INTEL® NUC KIT NUC8I7HNK.

What I would like to learn is:

  • which one is the line-in interface on my NUC (the jack in front or the one in the back)?
  • when I'm pluging in the cable, the Realtech device doesn't sense I plugged in a new device and it is not asking me anything... Where does it know I've plugged in something?

I've attached the way Audacity is configured to capture the sound coming from my Circuit... Thou, the NUC is not receiving anything from it...

Please help!

Thank you!

Stefan

Oh... I got it! From Realtek Audio Console -> Device advanced settings, I've enabled the Line In on analog port and I'm now able to record my music! Me so happy!
