Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the quality I should expect from INTEL, but nevertheless I am quite angry:
I received a replacement for my Intel NUC8i5BEK1 end of march 2022, as the fan was not working any more. After beeing loud all the time the past years, it stopped spinning from one second to the other. This was not even 3 months ago! And today the replacement NUC died: Frozen screen, and after "power off / power on" the NUC does not power up any more. I removed all USB devices whatsoever, I see 2 leds blinking at startup for HDD and Power for about 1-2 seconds, then the lights go out and the system is off power.
Hilariously the replacement NUC warranty ran off exactly 8th of June 2022.
Honestly: Please stop replacing stuff, if you deliver non working items or some with built-in planned obsolescence. For the future I'll stay away from Intel NUCs. Too loud, too hot and too expensive for the short rate of usage before they die.
Thanks for nothing.

Hello Taschenrechner,
I would like to let you know that we cannot discuss warranty-related inquiries in the community forums.
In this case, if you already tried with different components (RAM, SSD, power supply) and the issue persists, I recommend you to check with your local Intel support team to check if there are any warranty alternatives that they might offer.
Please keep in mind that this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel.

Hello Taschenrechner,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I am so sorry to know that you are having issues with your replacement unit as well (Intel® NUC Kit NUC8i5BEK).
Allow me to review this situation internally to check for any further actions that we could take. As soon as I have any details I will let you know.

Interesting. A 180 degree turn of support in 2 days - well, it fits to the products Intel sells.
And yes, I already purchased a new power supply. A quite interesting procedure, as you do not even find power supplys with this ratings as easy as one might think. Unfortunately still same behaviour with 2 seconds led blink and powering off afterwards. The item you send me few months ago as a replacement. But, as said - I will tell everybody I know who asks me, to stay away from your products. If there is something wrong with it, you can ditch it. No repair, nothing. A throw-away society I do not want to support in future.

Yeah, who cares. *thumbsup* As said: Thanks for nothing.
