Replacing the standard fan with a more efficient one?

Hi all,

I find the NUC8i5 too loud (/thread/130247 here).

Now I consider whether the problem can be solved by replacing the standard fan with a more efficient one. Does anyone already have experience with this or can tell me what to look out for with the new fan (dimensions, connection ...)?

Thank you for posting.

From my end, there is no information for this since it will void the warranty on the unit. You can try using the preset settings in the BIOS for the fan, we have seen cases where other users can set these to their preferences.

I hope the community can join and add more information about this matter.
