Hello,
I have recently started experiencing screen flickering and UI glitches/bugs in Windows 10 and various apps. It has been about two weeks I would say.
Based on the Intel Driver & Support Assistant my system is up to date.
I'm using my PC mainly for work. I always have Slack & Google Chrome running which is why I easily noticed it there and of course on the Windows login screen, but it does not appear to be an isolated problem as it happens in other apps as well.
Turning off hardware acceleration in Chrome or Slack seems to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, Chrome becomes unusable with the feature disabled.
Any help with this is much appreciated.
Thank you very much.

EDIT:
I have now tried what was suggested by the moderator here in regard to the memory controllers.
I'm running 2 8GB modules and I have tried switching them as well as running them by themselves in either slot 1 & 2. Unfortunately that did not resolve the issue.

henker, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.
In order for us to provide the most accurate assistance in this scenario, we just wanted to confirm a few details about your system:
Is this a new Intel® NUC?
When did you purchase it?
What is the model of the TV/monitor?
Which video port are you using to connect the machine to the TV/monitor?
Are you using adapters or converters to connect the Intel® NUC to the screen?
What is the name of the other apps where you are noticing the flickering problem?
Did you make any recent hardware/software changes that might cause this issue?
Does the problem happen at home or in the work environment?
Any questions, please let me know.
Regards,
Albert R.

Thank you for your time.
Is this a new Intel® NUC?
- It is not, but I am the original owner and it has performed flawlessly until now.
When did you purchase it?
- Ordered Dec. 26, 2019 & build in early Jan. 2020
What is the model of the TV/monitor?
- LG 27UL850-W
- The monitor is also connected to a gaming console with no issues
Which video port are you using to connect the machine to the TV/monitor?
- HDMI
- I have tried USB-C, no change
Are you using adapters or converters to connect the Intel® NUC to the screen?
- No adapter or converters
What is the name of the other apps where you are noticing the flickering problem?
- It happens pretty much everywhere in some form or shape (Windows images viewer, the Windows login screen, Google Chrome, Slack, Firefox, Snagit etc.)
- Some programs are more affected than others
Did you make any recent hardware/software changes that might cause this issue?
- No hardware changes
- No software changes other than regular updates, but I'm not able to recall what was done recently
- However, I think there was a Bios update through the Intel Driver & Support Assistant, but I could be wrong
Does the problem happen at home or in the work environment?
- I'm mainly using the computer when I work from home, but it is my personal computer and it also happens when I'm using it outside of work

@LeonWaksman
It worked! Thank you so much.
Would you happen to know why this driver wouldn't be installed or at least shown by the Driver & Support Assistant? I'm almost certain that in the beginning each item that is listed used to have a checkmark on it, but that is no longer the case.
How can I ensure that my system is up to date? Is there some other software I could refer to?

Hello @henker
I'm glad that it worked. This driver was not shown by the IDSA, since it wasn't yet tested by Intel for your NUC and therefore is not included as yet on NUC8i3BEK Download Page. For some reason this will happen with some delay from actual release.
