Hello,
i have 3 NUC7i3DNKTC. One i bought about 2 years ago, 2 i bought just a few weeks ago. Both have the same issue: As soon as the intel graphics driver is installed, the screen goes black for one second and comes back. this happens for minutes until it finally stops until reboot or shutdown/restart. sometimes it never stops.
When intel graphics driver is uninstalled and microsoft basic display driver is used, no problems occur.
I used the drivers from the official download page for this model: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/de/product/147969
Now i read that this 7th CPU Generation Nucs have big problems with screen flickering that still is not fixed as it seems. I also tried a few older intel graphics drivers that are suggested in some of those flickering threads but it does not help.
What i also wanted to try is to update the hdmi firmware to the 1.76 update but somehow the download link does not work. you can find it in google but then you get to an intel "page does not exist". Its also possible to view this site via google cache but the download link does not work anymore:

Coming from this link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000024118/intel-nuc/intel-nuc-kits.html
HDMI Firmware Update Tool for NUC7i3DN, NUC7i5DN, NUC7i7DN
Please, i need a working solution for this black screen problem which makes all 3 devices impossible to use.

1. Before installing the Intel DCH Graphics Driver:
2. Please download and install Device software for Intel® chipsets for NUC7i3DN
3. Download and install Intel® Management Engine Consumer Driver for Windows® 10 64-Bit for Intel® NUC.
4. Reboot your NUC
5. Now, install the Intel Graphics Driver.
6. You should also verify that your BIOS is updated. The latest version is 0071
7. The link for the HDMI firmware update tool is not working, so, this tool is not included on the download page for your NUC.

The ME Driver is not required for Graphics Driver to work correctly. It is required to extract the correct driver for your NUC, from the driver package which includes different drivers for different NUC.. Hope it will work for you.

I was able to get both new NUCs to work. Installing ME driver and all other stuff did not help. Problem was still there. The Problem was a specific combination of the hdmi cable and monitor. after switching to other cables and monitors, the NUCs dont black screen anymore.
Next week i will check again the 2 year old NUC. however this one is connected to a beamer. I hope i cant get it to work with new drivers because i cannot easily switch cable and beamer for this one.

Hello Tyth,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
I would like to know if you were able to fix this issue on the remaining NUC? If not, please provide the following:
1. Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) to gather more details about the system.
- Download the Intel® SSU and save the application on your computer
- Open the application, check the "Everything" checkbox, and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
- To save your scan, click Next and click Save.
2. Provide the Report for Intel® Graphics Drivers, follow this link.
I will send you an e-mail to the e-mail address associated with your community profile. Please reply to the email in order to provide us with the report(s) to avoid exposing sensitive information in the communities.
3. What is the brand and model of the display device you have connected to this NUC? Also, are you using any adapter/converter or is it a straight connection?
