Screen going black or flickering

It comes and goes. sometime for days there is no problem and it suddenly returns. a few days ago I downloaded a windows update "creative fall" or something and it made things much worse. I rolled back the windows version and re-installed everything that is to be installed by inter (drivers, support programs and such). so far to no avail. It is so bad that I can't use my one year old computer anymore.

Please update your bios with the latest version: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27230/BIOS-Update-RYBDWi35-86A-?product=87570 Download BIOS Update [RYBDWi35.86A]

You have very old version(0354). The bios was updated since this version 11 times. The latest version is version 0367

I'll suggest you to update your bios using bios recovery: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005532/mini-pcs.html BIOS Recovery Update Instructions for Intel® NUC . Download bios file: Ry0367.bio and save is on fully formatted USB. Format your USB to FAT32 (do not use quick format, use full format).

Try to recover your BIOS from Power Button Menu. In order to boot into Power Button Menu, you should release the Power Button soon as the power led changes color from blue to amber. NUC will reboot into Power Button Menu. With the USB containing the latest bios file, press F4 and the recovery shall start.
