Hi,
I'm running Ubuntu Server 18.04.5 on my NUC and have a USB 3 hard drive connected to it.
On my laptop this hard-drive reaches >100 MB/s read and write speed. However, on the NUC, the read speed is 115 MB/s (good enough) and the write speed only 3.5 MB/s. That is the case on any of the 5 USB ports (including the USB-C port).
I already updated the BIOS to the latest version (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/de/download/30154/BIOS-Update-BECFL357-).
Anyone has an idea how to speed up the USB3 ports on the NUC?
Best regards,
Erik

Do you have an install of Windows 10 on this BE NUC? If so, what is the timing there?

Hi Scott,

Best,
