Support for Ubuntu 18.04 NUC 11 products

Hi,

I am planning on buying one of the NUC 11 boards/SBCs to substitute my current intel i7 laptop running ubuntu 18.04. I have a few programs installed on this laptop that require 18.04 ubuntu. My question is if ubuntu 18.04 is supported by the NUC 11 boards? Or is it only 20.04? On one of the pages for the intel NUC 11 I see ubuntu 18.04 listed (https://ark.intel.com/content/www/de/de/ark/products/205607/intel-nuc-11-pro-kit-nuc11tnkv7.html) as supported but on another I do not see it (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005628/intel-nuc.html). 

Would appreciate any help in this regard.

Only 20.04 LTS.   Select "nucs with 11th gen processor" from here:

Are there any compatible NUC versions for Ubuntu 18.04? From the link you sent, it seems like only NUC 8 is compatible with it. Has anybody successfully installed and used Ubuntu 18.04 on any of the other NUC versions?

As I have not got any replies on this, I assume no one here has tried the ubuntu 18.04 on NUC 11. I will probably be getting a NUC 11 and will try ubuntu 18.04 on it and post here if there are any issues.

In the meanwhile if some one has had some experience on this topic please let me know.
