Support for WDS120G2G0B coming?

WDS120G1G0B is supported. But replaced by WDS120G2G0B.

The WDS120G1G0B is not reconginsed in the NUC. Tested it with anonther device, there it works.

Also see https://forums.intel.com/s/question/0D70P0000068VecSAE (here the G2 is replaced by a G1 and then it works.

I'm using the NUC5i3RYH with the latest BIOS update.

Please clarify your question. If I understand correctly, you have WDS120G2G0B SSD which is not recognised in BIOS? The same SSD works in other computer?

Yes. It works on other computers. The NUC does not recognize it. I Found: https://forums.intel.com/s/question/0D50P0000490S7HSAU/nuc7i3bnh-doesnt-recognize-wd-green-120gb-m2-... which also show a G2 not being recognized. Although the user states it was a broken SSD that got replaced, the working replacement in the screenshots is a G1.

The 1 is on the compatibility list from Intel. The 2 unfortunately not.

Looks that you are right. I see also that although the G2 is the newer model, the G1 has better performance.
