The latest Intel NUC Software Studio always switch to balance mode after reboot

My model is NUC11PHBi7.

Although I set the mode using the latest Intel NUC Software Studio version 1.16.14274.0,

with Intel NUC Software Studio Service_MSI_v1.0.0.17,

however, this latest version reset my performance settings to balance each time after every reboot of my computer.

So I have to manually set the performance to Max Performance again and again.

The old version can save and keep my performance settings.

I think this is a severe bug.

Please fix this ASAP.

Thanks!

After uninstalling both of the NSS and NSSS, I reinstalled them and rebooted for many times, and this problem amazingly solved.

I don't know the exact reason and solution for this event, but I am sure that Intel's upgradation for NSS is not perfect,

it acquires users to install the NSSS and do a lot of things to fix them.

Have you checked in BIOS Setup to ensure that it is set to Max Performance there as well?

Use F2 key at power on/restart to enter BIOS Setup. Press the Power button (on the top row) to get to the power settings. If Balanced Enabled is checked, uncheck it and then check Max Performance Enabled. Then, use F10 (followed by Y) to save the change and exit BIOS Setup.

Hope this helps,

After I uninstalled and re-installed the two software and restarted them several times, the NSS has successfully remembered the performance mode I chose after booting up.

However, I really appreciate your advice. I checked the BIOS and found that the original BIOS setting was balance, and I changed it to performance mode.

Now that both two settings are in performance mode, I think it should be no problem.
