Hi, does anyone know if it's possible to get Thunderbolt 3 connection on the NUC7i7BNH to work on Windows Server 2016?

Hello Jonny_Kvarnstrom,
I was taking a look at your thread and I noticed that you want to check if you can get the Thunderbolt 3 interfaces on a NUC7i7BNH with Windows 2016, it will be more than a pleasure to provide you with guidance on this matter.
In this case the unit by default supports Thunderbolt™ 3 with up to 40Gbps of data throughput, specifically on Windows 10 Windows® 10, 64-bit.
I regret to inform you that in this case the only supported OS for this unit will be Windows® 10, 64-bit, meaning that if by any chance you install Windows 2016 it may work and even boot, however we do not guarantee that the unit will recognize thunderbolt devices due to the lack of drivers among the OS for this type of interface.
You can check the list of OS supported for all our Intel NUC's here:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005628/mini-pcs.html
I hope this helps,
Best Regards,
Diego S.

Hi Diego,
Thanks for your response
But the thing is that it is not possible to install the drivers on Windows Server 2016 without modify the installation packet:
