Thunderbolt Controller - 15D9: Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer.

On my NUC8i7BEH under Win 10 Pro x64 I get the following error for Thunderbolt Controller - 15D9:

Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer.

 

Also see the attached picture.

 

Does anyone else experience such problem?

Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities. Please share more information with us:

  • Did you make any software changes recently?
  • Did you reinstall Windows?
  • Which version of Windows 10 do you use?
  • Please share with us the  Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) results 
    • Download the Intel SSU https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows
    • Open the application and select "Everything" click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View".  
    • Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".  
    • To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save".

I recently moved on to NUC11 so unfortunately I wouldn't be able to check that NUC8 anymore.
