Thunderbolt 4 cable recognized on old Lenovo ThinkPad X1 and other devices but not recognized by the Thunderbolt Control Center on the new ThinkPad. Able to use Windows Network Sharing to exchange files between them but unable to use Thunderbolt technology. Was told by Lenovo to contact Intel to resolve. Any help appreciated.

Hello, @gmeline.
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
I am sorry to hear what is happening with your Thunderbolt port, however, you need to get assistance from your OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), our support and drivers for thunderbolt issues are for Intel® NUC products. As you can see in this driver as an example: Thunderbolt™ 3 and 4 DCH Driver for Windows® 10 for Intel® NUC
Your OEM provides the latest drivers for your system, as you can see here: Driver for Windows 10 (64-bit) - ThinkPad Thunderbolt 3 Workstation Dock/ThinkPad Thunderbolt 3 Dock...
You can check the following article regarding the Support option for Thunderbolt™.
For that reason, this thread will no longer be monitored and will be closed. Thank you for your comprehension.
Best regards,
Jocelyn M.
