I think Intel NUCS are fabulous little machines. When I saw the Dawson Canyon I almost fell off my bed because the hardware is just what I need and the name itself spoke to me. I was about to look at prices until I noticed that it didn't have a Thunderbolt port. For it not having thunderbolt made me turn away from Dawson Canyon because my next PC must have a Thunderbolt port. I saw in a video by Simply NUC that there is an expansion port on the back of Dawson canyon and what better place to ask then here in the Intel forums. Is there a way for Dawson Canyon to support a Thunderbolt Port? Or do I have to wait for Bean Canyon to come out in Q3 2018
I understand that you are currently looking to see if the Dawson Canyon has or not USB-C. I have reviewed the different documents we have and checked the information and that is correct, none of the Dawson Canyon family has a USB-C port.
I apologize for any inconvenience.
I am following up with your case and see that we have not heard back from you.
