I'm building an Intel NUC, and the Windows 10 install fails. It says loading files, bar fills up, then I get various BSODs. Bad pool header, wimfsf.sys, fault in non paged area...
Details:
NUC - BOXNUC7PJYH1
RAM - Crucial 4GBx2, DDR4 2400 MT/S (PC4-19200) SR x8 SODIMM 260-Pin Memory - CT2K4G4SFS824A
SSD - Kingston A400 SSD 120GB SATA 3 2.5” Solid State Drive SA400S37
And an official Windows 10 USB install drive
Any ideas?

- Before starting Windows 10 installation, enter bios (press F2 during boot) and set bios to default settings (press F9). Now, press F10 to save default settings and exit bios.
- Please install Windows following steps in this tutorial: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-clean-install-windows-10-a.html
2.1 Skip on para.12 and continue in para 13 (UEFI boot). Delete all existing partition on your SSD till you see one unallocated space. Press "Next"
If you will again you will get installation failures, prepare new installation USB, using Microsoft Media Creation tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Thanks! The first couple steps didn't work, so I made a new USB installation with that tool, and it did the trick.

That's nice. I saw few times in this forum that the official Microsoft installation USB is not working. After Windows 10 installation, please do now forget to install drivers downloaded fro Intel site: https://ark.intel.com/products/126137/Intel-NUC-Kit-NUC7PJYH . You may want also update Bios to the latest version.
