Update on operating systems running on NUC8i7HVK

On compatibleproducts.intel.com: NUC8i7HVK  I see only:

  • Linux Mint
  • Microsoft Windows 10

I found it works on:

  • Debian 10 (buster)
  • Linux Mint  20.1 (Ulyssa)
  • Debian/testing (bullseye)

See wiki.debian.org/InstallingDebianOn/Intel/NUC8i7HVK2  for my Debian installation results.

It boots on FreeBSD, but only in text mode.

Hans

I'm sure that's just because you can't really test every distro out there, but anything reasonably modern with a >5.* Kernel and Mesa >20.* w/RADV should work absolutely fine with the Hades Canyon.

I run Solus 4.2 myself as my daily driver without any issues.

David,

Maybe my question should have been how the Compatible Products for NUC8i7HVK  can be updated.

Machine works fine.

I can also add Qubes OS  to the list.
