Video dropout on Radeon Vega M on i7 NUC

I'm a couple days into my i7-8809G NUC, and I'm having graphics issues that is making it almost unusable.

Running a 4k Screen over HDMI. This is the version with the Radeon Vega M GH graphics.

The video was stable with the drivers that came out of the box. I forget the exact version number, but it was from March 2018. But every attempt to launch various games produced DirectX failed to initialize errors. So I updated the video drivers. Seemed straight forward enough.

The DirectX error went away, but now the video is cutting out for a few seconds, about one per minute. Doesn't matter if I'm in a game or not. I've tried the newest drivers, as well as 18.8.1, and 18.10.2. Issue is present throughout.

If I rollback to the March 2018 drivers, the video issue goes away, but the DirectX error comes back.

Any ideas?

Hello BWill22 Thank you for posting in the Intel Community. • Have you installed the drivers for both Intel® HD graphics controller and Radeon™ vega controller for the Intel® NUC Kit NUC8i7HVK? • Reference link for the drivers: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/126143/Intel-NUC-Kit-NUC8i7HVK • NOTE: I recommend completing a clean install of both drivers in the system (uninstalling the current drivers and installing the latest driver for the graphics controllers). • What is the DirectX error that you are having? • In order to have more details about the behavior please provide me with the information and reports requested on the following link: https://forums.intel.com/s/feed/0D50P0000490AGdSAM?language=en_US Hope this helps. Make sure you are using the drivers from Downloadcenter.intel.com for the Radeon GFx as the drivers from AMD's web site are not the same and will cause issues.
