Video issues with NUC8I7HVK Hades Canyon VR

currently have a new NUC8I7HVK connected to an old Sharp LED TV via HDMI (which works fine) and I have tried to connect it to another TV (Samsung - 32" Class - LED - Q50 Series) and a Dell monitor (U-Series U3219Q) and I can see the initial boot screen but then I get a black screen. Anyone else experience this or know how to solve this issue?

Hello drainbow,

Thank you for submitting your question on this Intel® Community.

To better assist you, we would like to obtain more information about your system configuration.

  • Please generate a system report with the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) and attach it to this thread.

  1. Intel® SSU Download link
  2. Open the application and click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View".
  3. Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
  4. To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save".

  • Also, please provide us with the following information:
  • How are you connecting the other monitors to the Intel® NUC?
  • What are the model numbers of the Sharp LED TV and Samsung TV?
  • Are you connecting multiple monitors at the same time?
  1. Intel® NUC + Samsung TV?
  2. Intel® NUC + Dell monitor?
  3. Intel® NUC + Samsung TV + Dell monitor?
