I plan to setup an system with VCA2, but it have minimum requirements for BAR and MMIO.
The VCA user guide said that the host system required:
MMIO mapping above 4 GB is enabled
Minimum MMIO size is 4 GB/CPU (node)
I want to ask, for the 12th generation CPU, is the MMIO size still 4gb? If I need to use VCA2, do I still need to install it on a dedicated server motherboard?

Hello @CQCQN
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
We understand that you have some inquiries regarding Intel® NUC 12 Extreme Kits NUC12DCMi[X] with 12th Generation Processors and support of Memory-mapped I/O (MMIO).
Based on the Technical Product Specifications, section 2.4.1 Addressable Memory, page 9; the Intel® NUCs support Memory-mapped I/O that is dynamically allocated for M.2 add-in cards (256 MB).
Also, it is worth keeping in mind that the Intel® NUCs are not intended/recommended to be deployed as a "server".
Regarding your other inquiry about Intel® Visual Compute Accelerator 2 (Intel® VCA 2) "If I need to use VCA2, do I still need to install it on a dedicated server motherboard?", please post this question on the Server Products Forum for proper assistance with inquiries about Intel® VCA 2.
Best regards,
Andrew G.
