Just wonder what is the correct audio driver for nuc12dcmi9? I tried searching for sometimes and using the intel driver & support assistant but couldnt find any clue. the driver pages of nuc12dcmi9 on intel's website has no sound driver. i ran the assistant app but no suggestion for the onboard. neither did any choice come up inthe device manager or sound setting tab.
i plugged headphone into the front 3.5mm but there's no sound nor i'm given the choice to switch to that in sound setting. . .
please help!

Thanks! I've just opened up my nuc12dcmi9 and tightened the 2 usb cables for the front panels. bingo! it works after rebooting! strictly speaking, the onboard audio still didn't show up until i plugged a headphone into the front 3.5mm jack. then a "Headphones (C-media USB Audio 2.0)" shown up without any driver installed. i went to device manager to have a look and it said no driver is needed for this driver.
just it's strange that no one mention what kind of c-media chip (instead of realtek in nuc11) is used in nuc12dcmi9.

According to the TPS, there is a front panel audio ('headset') device that supports this connector. It appears that this device is a part of the DC chassis and not a part of the ED Compute Element. The device is connected to the Compute Element via USB, which means that the (standard, Microsoft) driver should be automatically installed by Windows. You should be seeing a Realtek USB2.0 Audio device in Device Manager, but an additional installation is still required. I could not find the driver package on the Intel site, but I did find a compatible driver on the Dell site: https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=rrpcc.
Hope this helps,
