I see two different answers on HDR support for the new Gemini Lake NUCs. One Intel rep says it will have support, another says it will not. Intel marketing materials say the NUCs support HDR.
So which is it? Is this support coming or will it not be supported?

Will this answer apply to both of the Gemini Lake NUCs or will the quad core variant support HDR?

lonseidman,
For some reason Intel just withdrawn HDR support:
Here you see it:
http://simplynuc.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/tech_specs.pdf http://simplynuc.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/tech_specs.pdf
and here you don't:
https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/product-briefs/nuc7cjyh-nuc7pjyh-nuc7cjys-brief.pdf https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/product-briefs/nuc7cjyh-nuc7pjyh-nuc7cjys-brief.pdf
What bothers me is that Intel removed "HDMI 2.0a" fromhttps://ark.intel.com/products/128984/Intel-Pentium-Silver-J5005-Processor-4M-Cache-up-to-2_80-GHz Intel® Pentium® Silver J5005 Processor (4M Cache, up to 2.80 GHz) Product Specifications
Maybe Intel plans to abandon HDMI 2.0 support on these products, which is currently very limited?

So that's dual channel memory support removed and HDR support removed from pre-sales literature ..after you've bought the unit! And when I say 'you'.. I mean me as well.
This is really very poor, or even 'sharp', practice..so I assume that Intel will correct it quickly.
