What is the network card chipset in the Intel NUC5i5RYH

I'm planning to install PFSense on my Intel NUC, but I read that it only works with Intel Network cards/chipsets. I read several product descriptions and Intel product spec sheet, but the NIC chipset is never mentioned, Could someone here tell me what kind of NIC is built into the NUC?

It utilizes an Intel Wireless-AC 7265. It also uses an Intel Gigabit Ethernet solution. It is exceedingly rare for a NUC to not use all-Intel networking silicon. BTW, you can look this up yourself very easily; just go to ark.intel.com and enter the name of the NUC in the search box.

Hi ikomrad,

I understand you are looking for the wired network controller model for the Intel® NUC NUC5i5RYH, let me help you on this matter.

After checking full Intel® NUC specifications at the technical product specification page, I see this is an Intel® I218-V Gigabit Ethernet Controller (10/100/1000 Mb/s)

See specifications https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/boardsandkits/NUC5i5RYB_NUC5i3RYB_TechProd... here. Page 29
