What setup is required for infrared/CIR/IRDA support?

Hello

I am still waiting my MCE remote to arrive, but beforehand I would like to know whether my NUC is set up correctly.

I installed Intel driver (uninstalled the one from Windows Update earlier, as it was apparently newer and made Intel driver installation fail).

I do see working "ITECIR Infrared Receiver (EC)" and "Microsoft eHome infrared transceiver" as HID Devices in Device Manager, but I don't have any IR-related network cards and I don't have any hardware associated in Control Panel>Infrared>Hardware. Irda and irmon services are stopped.

It this enough for the remote to work correctly?

Windows 10 64-bit update 1803

Yes, all you need to do is enable CIR in BIOS Setup and install the appropriate CIR driver package for your NUC.
