When I run the update ME_Consumer_Win10_1950.14.0.1443 it fails on one of my systems. I have the BIOS 59 and all other drivers up-to-date. Is there a workaround to install this one?

  1. I have also this version of ME installed on my NUC8i7HVK.
  2. Please open Apps an Features (in Windows settings). Click on Intel Management Engine Components and then click on Uninstall. After finishing uninstalling, reboot your NUC.
  3. Install the new version https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downloads/eula/28215/Intel-Management-Engine-Consumer-Driver-for-Windows-10-64-bit-for-Intel-NUC?httpDown=https%3A%2F%2Fdownloadmirror.intel.com%2F28215%2Feng%2FME_Consumer_Win10_1950.14.0.1443.zip

Thank you. I followed your instructions and got the same "fails" error. So I used the path shown to me when I asked for "details" before the error message and found the previous version of the setup.exe file. In running this without the "- uninstall" command modifier I was presented the two choice - delete or repair. Smelling a rat i first used repair and when it came back i then re-ran the setup program selecting "uninstall" and it did. Intel needs to modify the Apps and Features presentation for this module to show not only that you can delete but also the repair facility. Rebooting the system and installing the new version works fine. Thank you for leading me towards this answer..
