Hello.
I recently bought an Intel NUC8i5BEH (Board Model NUC8BEB, Board Version J72692-307) running Windows 10 Enterprise.
When running an Acronis Bootable Media in a WinPE environment, the NIC is not detected.
Acronis support suggests to geberate an Acronis Bootable Media in a Customized WinPE environment, where there is an option to add a folder of the vendor NIC driver, that will be included in the generation process.
My NUC8i5BEH comes with a NIC Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (6) I219-V. When downloading a driver for it. it comes as a *.exe file which can not be put in a folder for including in the Acronis Bootable Media generation process for WinPE.
So, what I need is a bare driver files (*.inf, *.sys, *.dll etc) which can be put in a folder that will be included in the generation process.
Question: Where to find it?
Thanks,
Oded

This is one of the reasons I stopped using Acronis. There are other backup programs that use WInPE as part of their bootable media and do not have such a problem.

Thank you for replying. Well, I used to work in an IT of a big electric company, there we found that Acronis is a very fine product, actually one of the top. So I am insisting of looking for a solution.

Have acronis help you with this. I use another very fine product, where the recovery media is WinPE, and they have never asked me for any drivers. However, that is the reason I gave up on acronis.
When you make the recovery media on the PC, acronis "should" know where the required driver(s) are. It is absolutely ridiculous that they do not.
Here is the complete driver pack: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/22283?product=82186
Just an opinion of a guy with 48 years experience.

Hi,
First in first, many thanks for the driver.
No doubt they should have. However, Stand Alone environment is not for newbies, and is not for common use. In general, Acronis should stand for their value i.e backup and restore in compare to other products in the market. As for my issue once I had the bare NIC driver, I managed to included it in the Acronis Bootable Media Generation for WinPE (pay attention though, NOT for Custom WinPE as this one comes from the forum on an ASIS basis). I you are interested, I attached a *.PDF file describing by screen shots of the generation process. I would welcome you remarks, if any.
Sincerely

It is a shame that Acronis can do no better than this, and makes their users go through this pain to use their product.
Glad you have it working.
