Windows 10 pro On BOXNUC8i3CYSN1

My NUC BOXNUC8i3CYSN1 preloaded with Windows 10 Home I am trying to upgrade it to Windows 10 Pro but it's not working. I even bought Windows 10 Pro disk and Product Key. It remains in Windows 10 Home even after a fresh installation with Windows 10 Pro disk.

The reason I want to upgrade is because I want to be able to use the Group Policy editor.

Your got your NUC with Windows 10 Home pre-installed. The license for the Home addition is saved in your BIOS. Therefor during clean installation, the Home version is installed. So in order to upgrade your Windows to Pro follow my instructions:

1. Open Windows Settings Update & Security

2. Click on Activation

3. On the Activation screen, click on Change product key, enter the Product key from the Windows 10 Pro edition and click Next.

4. Follow the instruction on the next screen (click Start) and the upgrade process will start. Once the download of upgrade features finishes, your NUC will reboot with the Pro version.
