My laptop is not able to upgrade itself to Windows 11 because a driver "Intel® Smart Sound Technology (Intel® SST) Audio Controller" needs to be upgraded to either 10.30.00.5714 and later or 10.29.00.5714 and later.
Current my system runs 10.29.0.5152 version. Microsoft suggests asking OEM for the driver update. Any possibility of getting any info on the update?
My laptop model: Ideapad 5-15ITL05 Laptop - Type 82FG
Processor: 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz

Hello GomzRyan,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I understand you are having issues with your Ideapad 5-15ITL05 Laptop.
Bear in mind that Intel provides the bands (Lenovo, DELL, HP, etc) with this technology (Intel® Smart Sound Technology), however, they are the ones in charge to provide drivers and support for this feature. This is because they have to make sure that it is compatible with their BIOS and specifications.
For drivers and support for Intel® Smart Sound Technology on your laptop, I recommend that you refer back to Lenovo as they can provide you with the required support.
Regards,
Deivid A.
