Hello AlanEast,

I understand you are trying to install Windows 7* on your computer.

Let me apologize for any inconvenience this issue may be causing to you.

The Intel® NUC Kit NUC5CPYH does not have the option to configure USB 3.0 ports to work as USB 2.0.

There is a utility on our website which will allow you to include USB 3.0 drivers on your Windows 7* installation installation image. This is the link to the utility https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25476/Windows-7-USB-3-0-Creator-Utility?product=85254 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25476/Windows-7-USB-3-0-Creator-Utility?product=85254

Let me know if you have or not any other inquiry.

Regards,

Fred D.
