I have the NUC 8i7HNK with the Radeon graphics (as well as Intel 630 igd).
In the BIOS there are options to Disable/Enable/ or AUTO for the IGD,..no Radeon settings at all.
So if I want to use the Radeon for games and general windows work should this be set to Auto, Enable or Disable? And if set to disable does the NUC then use the default Windows 10 Graphics, or the Radeon? I did try setting it to disabled but noticed no difference in the graphics at all.
A supplementary question - if I leave the IGD enabled, does the system automatically select the Radeon if I start a game, or does it try to use the IGD?
Thanks

The AMD graphics controls all display outputs. Intel HD Graphics engine is not involved in any display activities, and is only used for other issues, like transcoding, DRM, etc.

Thanks, can the IG be turned of (disabled) in BIOS? Or it is not necessary to do this?

Not necessary. And, if everything is working, leave well enough alone.
