Hello @q9
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
In order to determine the proper support, could you please confirm the full/exact model of your Intel® NUC?
You may check the chassis label and look for the Regulatory Model and/or Product Code.
Best regards,
Andrew G.

Not sure what else to say, if the unit took a lightening strike unprotected, it may be a gonner.
The O/S and installed onto a HDD. It may have survived the strike, so you could move it to another PC to get your contents off of it.
Hope this helps,

Hello q9
Thank you for your response. We hope that the assistance provided by the community has been helpful.
We would like to inform you that due to the Intel® NUC Kit DN2820FYKH has been discontinued, Intel Customer Service no longer supports inquiries for it, but perhaps fellow community members have the knowledge to jump in and help. You may also find the Discontinued Products website helpful to address your request.
Note: You might need to search for the proper Product Category and click on its "Show more" link if the product is not visible in the top rows.
Please keep in mind that this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel. Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
Andrew G.
