intel nuc8i5beh shuts off midwork

Jump to solution

Intel Nuc8i5BEH is connected to two cameras powering them through USB ports and it shuts off during work, more frequently when a process is started or ended.

Does anyone know when the Voltage sense (Out of range power supply voltage detection ) is activated?

Dear Jose,

I found out what the problem was since I was powering the nuc with a battery pack. The issue was from the input voltage which had dropped under 19 volts so the Nuc would shut itself off.

Thank you either way.

Hello Ferbo,

Thank you for posting on the Intel Community.

Based on the information that you provided and in order to better understand your issue please provide the following information:

  • Was working before without the shutdowns? Or as soon you connect the cameras the NUC starts with the shutdowns?

We will be waiting for your answers.

Hello Ferbo, Thank you very much for letting us know that information.

Perfect, excellent, we are glad to hear that you found the reason for the problem which was the input voltage and that now the Intel® NUC Kit NUC8i5BEH is working properly and it is not shutting off by itself.
