When powered off, watch the power LED as you press the power button and. Do you see it flashing?
Do you have an adapter that will allow you to hook up your monitor via the DisplayPort connector?

There have been a couple of reports in the past few years of the HDMI connector failing on RY NUCs. As an alternative (though not guaranteed to solve the problem), you can get an adapter (or cable) that will allow you to connect your HDMI monitor to the RY NUC's mini-DisplayPort (mDP) connector. Here are some examples (both ~US$9):
- mDP to HDMI adapter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JDWR6W9.
- mDP to HDMI cable: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0134V3KIA.
Hope this helps,

Hhmmm, have you verified that the HDMI cable that you are using hasn't failed? Can you connect this monitor to another computer?
Presuming that the answer is yes, you've verified the monitor and cable, let's continue the analysis. With the monitor reconnected (via either connector), what happens if you power on the unit holding the power button down for 3 seconds? If it is working properly, you should see the Power Button Menu appear on the monitor within 60 seconds. Do you see it?
If the answer is no, next thing to try is opening the chassis and moving the yellow BIOS jumper from pins 1-2 to pins 2-3 and then powering on. What happens then?
