Gigabyte AORUS GTX 1080 Gaming Box

Hello townsx,
Thanks for all the time, in this case, we can confirm that the NUC supports external video cards. However, M.2 adapters are not supported, if a regular M.2 storage device works as expected then the combination with other devices/adapters is something that you may need to try/test on your own since it is out of specifications.
Thanks for your comprehension.
Best regards,

Hello townsx,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I understand you are having issues with your Intel® NUC 11 Performance kit - NUC11PAHi5.
In order to better assist you, please provide the following:
1. Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) to gather more details about the system.
- Download the Intel® SSU and save the application on your computer: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18377/intel-system-support-utility-for-windows.html
- Open the application, check the "Everything" checkbox, and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
- To save your scan, click Next and click Save.
2. Is the Intel® NUC 11 Performance kit - NUC11PAHi5 a new device?
3. How are you connecting a graphics card to the NUC?
4. If you are using an external device, can you provide the brand and model name of this device?
5. If the NUC is not brand new, did it work before with an AMD graphics card?
Regards,
Deivid A.

Hello townsx,
Thanks for the information provided. Before we continue further, I would like to try the following:
1. Set BIOS to default settings:
- Press F2 during boot to enter BIOS Setup.
- Press F9 to load defaults.
- Press F10 to save and exit BIOS Setup.
2. Perform a BIOS recovery:
- BIOS: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19694/bios-update-patgl357.html
- Steps: BIOS Recovery by the Power Button Menu
In the unlikely event that a BIOS update is interrupted, it’s possible the BIOS might be left in an unusable state.
Performing a BIOS Recovery can resolve this problem.
1. Plug a USB device into the USB port of the Intel NUC when it’s turned off (not in Hibernate or Sleep
mode), then power up Intel NUC.
2. Download and save the RECOVERY.zip file for your Intel NUC unit into that USB device.
3. Extract/Unzip the RECOVERY.zip file.
4. Power off your Intel NUC, keep the USB device in a USB port.
5. Press and hold down the power button for three seconds, then release it before the 4-second
shutdown override. The Power Button Menu appears.
6. Press F4 to start a BIOS Recovery.
7. Wait 2-5 minutes for the update to complete.
8. The computer will either turn off when the recovery process is complete or it will prompt you to turn off
the computer.
9. Remove the USB flash drive.
10. Restart the computer.

1 Troubleshooting Tips for eGPU on Intel® NUC →NUC11のBIOSに項目がない設定があり試せないものもありました
